The new Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace will be unveiled next week ahead of the facelifted seven-seat mid-size SUV’s Australian launch in the first quarter of 2022.
Following the recent local arrival of the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan range, which has a broader line-up that’s better equipped than ever before but more expensive too, the Allspace version is set to come with similar upgrades.
Set for a world premiere on May 12, the German manufacturer has highlighted sharper design and fresh technology as key elements of the 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace.
The latter includes new control and assist systems that “guarantee even more convenience”, VW says, along with online-based services and functions as part of Volkswagen’s latest infotainment system.
Although Volkswagen has only released a single teaser image of the Allspace’s rear-end design, expect similar front-end tweaks as those seen on the latest Volkswagen Tiguan, including slimmer headlights and a resculpted front bumper.
The cabin will also carry new digital instrumentation and “comprehensive connectivity”.
Luggage capacity appears to be on the rise in the seven-seat SUV, with Volkswagen declaring up to 1920 litres of space will be available, compared to the current offering of 1775L.
Stay tuned for more details as Volkswagen counts down to its global launch on May 12.
