Ford announced via Twitter that from now on GT buyers will have the new options of dark red, blue or white paint colours, with a further range of colours expected to be announced in the near future.
Combined with the new choice of paint, Ford Performance has introduced new arrowhead graphics that highlight the architectural buttresses and side air-intake, and is combined with a single racing stripe along the centre of the car and colour-matched mirror caps.

Now producing 493kW – 10kW more than before – Ford has already revealed the updated GT supercar bags new higher energy ignition coils and a revised ‘gallery-cooled’ piston design that helps the engine perform with increased efficiently at high temperatures.
Combined with larger intercoolers, as well as generating extra power, engineers claim the pair of turbos now work more consistently at and around maximum boost.
As part of the tweaks introduced at the beginning of the year, the GT went back to the wind tunnel for subtle but effective tweaks to the buttresses, which are now said to increase airflow over the car by 50 per cent.
Finally, the weight of the 2020 GT drops slightly by 4kg thanks to a full titanium sports exhaust developed by Akrapovic.
To fully exploit the extra power, engineers have also rethought the suspension set-up in Track mode to provide both improved handling and better body control at the limit.
As well as the new paint, Ford's GT is now available in naked carbon-fibre and a choice of Gulf Racing heritage paint schemes.
Other options for the GT include titanium wheel bolts and six-point race harness seats. There’s also five new finishes for the brake callipers and another five interior options.
